All calls and text messages processed through the Service may be monitored, recorded, and reviewed for quality assurance, safety, and service improvement purposes by both ElderDial and our partners. This monitoring includes but is not limited to:
- Automated transcription and analysis of phone calls
- Review of SMS conversations for service quality
- AI-driven analysis of conversations to extract scheduling requests, consent changes, and health-related observations
- Human review of transcripts and messages when necessary for quality assurance, safety investigations, or dispute resolution
By using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to this monitoring. Caregivers are responsible for informing elderly clients that calls and messages are monitored and recorded.
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information with the following parties:
4.1 Service Providers and Partners
- Twilio — telephony services for phone calls and SMS messaging
- Google (Gemini AI) — AI language model services for generating conversations and analyzing transcripts
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations to protect your information.
4.2 Authorized Caregivers
Call transcripts, conversation summaries, and client status information are shared with the designated caregiver or family member who manages the client's account.
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. SMS and Text Messaging
When you interact with ElderDial via SMS:
- You may send and receive text messages to create, configure, and manage accounts for our check-in call service
- Message frequency varies based on your interactions; typically 1–10 messages per account management session
- Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan
- You can opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message

- SMS opt-in consent is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes
- Supported carriers include but are not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Sprint. Service availability may vary by carrier
6. Data Retention

- Call transcripts and SMS records are retained for up to 24 months after creation
- Consent and opt-out records are retained indefinitely for compliance purposes
